DRILL DESCRIPTION AND SET UP

We create 2 squares, 1 square for playing rondo game to one side and 1 square to other side to receive or steal the ball after a long pass. We have 2 goalkeepers and 11 players inside. 1 G/k of 2 goalkeepers has the a second important objective to receive and change game to other side except to save a goal. Start from the rondo square with 4 possession players and 2 defenders. 1 central defender into the box with support of G/k, and one full back to the other line with objective to receive and try to score. Start the game from possessions players in the rondo with objective to make x passes and try to change side with support of Gk or CD (G). If they achieve this pass to other line fullback, we have a 3v3 game (EGD v CBA). If reds steal the ball try to score to their "enemy" goalpost.

Let's face it! Realism is an element that should not be missed in any training session.

Nowadays, training tends to be repetitive without giving the necessary emphasis to detail. And to some basic football habits, every coach should emphasize not only the quality of the energy but also the way it is achieved.
